Picture this: Dazzling lights illuminate 91��Ʒ���ϳԹ�’s University Square. Throbbing dance music pulsates. You’re in a crowd with 4,000 other students wearing glow-in-the-dark paint, dancing in unison, radiating undeniable energy.

The University of Ottawa’s summer math camp is the largest and most diverse of the 23 math camps sponsored by the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS). Launched in 1999, our bilingual (English and French) summer camp was the first math camp backed by the CMS.

The Common Law Section is celebrating the induction of two of our own into the prestigious Order of Canada. On June 30, Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, announced 85 new appointments to the Order of Canada.
