Given SOFEDI's focus on women's reproductive health and improving women's vulnerable situations, my internship at SOFEDI gave me the opportunity to help several hundred even several thousand people.

“My local NGO is a passionate team, always seeking to intervene in the interests of the vulnerable population (women, the disabled, neglected communities, etc.)”.

“I hoped during this experience to acquire adequate knowledge to continue my education in gender studies and I am fulfilled.”

As a student in International Economics and Development at the University of Ottawa, I chose this program because of my attraction to the process of financing and allocating development assistance (ODA).

This internship has brought out in me, a feeling of empathy, which I've never experienced before.

This internship in the context of a pandemic allowed us to immerse ourselves a little more in this hyper-connected world that has now become ours.

Furthermore, for the feminist and curious woman that I am, this internship is an opportunity to learn a little more about the world and about myself, while contributing to causes that are close to my heart.
