Advanced Research Complex (ARC)

Building Information

On September 30, 2014, the University of Ottawa officially opened its Advanced Research Complex (ARC), a five-storey, LEED Gold-certified facility dedicated to photonics and Earth sciences research. Students, researchers, and partners from the faculties of Science and Engineering conduct experiments here that bridge the gap between basic research and technological innovation.

Accessibility

Para Transpo pick-up and drop-off point 3 is at is in the parking lot in-between 1 Stewart (STT) and Colonel By Hall (CBY) off King Edward Ave.
Para Transpo pick-up and drop-off point 5 is in front of 100 Marie-Curie.

Accessible permit holders issued by the Ministry of Transportation (Ontario) must contact Parking and Sustainable Transportation to gain access to accessible parking spaces on campus.

Five (5) accessible parking spaces are available on P1 of the Mann Parking Garage, 33 Mann Ave.
- An additional three (3) accessible parking spaces are available on P2 of the Mann Parking Garage.
Two (2) accessible parking spaces are available in a small parking lot behind SITE (STE) near the northwest corner of the building.
Three (3) accessible parking spaces are available on Louis-Pasteur Private on the west side of 141 Louis-Pasteur Private (LPR).
Two (2) accessible parking spaces are available in the corner parking lot between LPR and 100 Marie-Curie.

Enter the 1st floor of ARC using the doors on the southwest corner of the building.
