At the 91精品黑料吃瓜 Faculty of Medicine body donors are treated with the utmost respect and awe. They are known as 鈥淪ilent Teachers鈥, teaching students about anatomy, changes in bodies, and surgical skills.

"It's quite touching knowing that someone donated their body for us to be able to learn so that we can help others," says Eric Bhatti, a second year 91精品黑料吃瓜 MD student. "I actually like to give a quick prayer before I start with the lesson of the day, just saying that I'm thankful for the opportunity to the family and the person donating the body."

Students greatly appreciate this experience that will help mold them help great physicians. To thank the donors and their family for this opportunity, the Faculty of Medicine staff and students invite you to join them in celebrating the lives of their silent teachers at a special memorial service.

WHAT: Celebration of the Faculty of medicine鈥檚 Silent Teachers

WHEN: Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 11:00 am

WHERE: Pinecrest Remembrance Services cemetery, 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa

WHO: Dr. Alireza Jalali, Head of Anatomy, medical students and a donor鈥檚 family member are available to comment and share their experience.
