The Faculty of Law (Common Law Section) is thrilled that one of its alumnae, Honorable Michelle O’Bonsawin, LLB ’98 and PhD ’22, has been appointed as the first Indigenous person on the Supreme Court of Canada.

Congratulations to these Common Law alumni who were elected, or re-elected, on June 2, in the 2022 Ontario provincial election.

Charles Blouin (BASc 2013, MASc 2016) and Dominic Robillard (BASc 2011), who cofounded Tyto Robotics, have won the Outaouais’ regional innovation prize from Quebec’s order of professional engineers. The Ordres des ingénieurs du Québec awards this prize to Quebec companies that innovate and contribute to improving quality of life.
