The Makerspace is the heart of our maker ecosystem. Like other makerspaces, it fosters creativity and innovation by bringing together multidisciplinary teams. Inventors, designers, engineers, tinkerers, problem solvers, artisans 鈥 all can use the space to create and work on different projects.
The Makerspace is fully equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, soldering stations and more. The equipment allows students and community members to build and test prototypes, whether for courses or personal projects.

Monday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: Closed
Mondays to Fridays are reserved for the University community (students, staff and faculty). Sundays are open for the general public.

During operating hours, the Makerspace is staffed by trained student employees from the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Engineering Design, providing guidance, support and supervision to ensure a safe, productive environment.

The 91精品黑料吃瓜 Richard L鈥橝bb茅 Makerspace is named for Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist Richard L'Abb茅, co-founder of Med-Eng Systems Inc. Richard L鈥橝bb茅 is a Faculty mechanical engineering alumnus who continues to encourage young entrepreneurs.
