These annual awards honour the exceptional contributions of CSEP members, including certified professionals, academics, and students. in advancing exercise physiology and promoting the health and well-being of Canadians.

Research Canada Leadership in Advocacy Award
Research Canada鈥檚 Leadership in Advocacy Award was established to honour outstanding advocates for medical, health and scientific research. The Leadership Award is presented to either an individual or organization who/which has made outstanding efforts in advocating for Canadian health research at the local, provincial and/or national level.

Indigenous Physicians Association of Canada Awards
The IPAC awards honour Indigenous physicians, residents and medical students for their leadership, mentorship, community impact and being stewards of our sacred land. Recipients will receive a $1000 award and will be acknowledged at the Annual Gathering, July 2024 in Halifax, NS. There are five IPAC Awards this year: the Community Impact Award, the Mentorship Award, the Sacred Land Award, the Medical Resident Leadership Award, and the Medical Student Leadership Award.

J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine
The international scientific community is invited to nominate individual scientists or groups of scientists whose initiatives fall within a particular field of research determined on an annual basis at Robarts and reflecting a principal area of research at the Institute. Alice E. Till Advancement of Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences

This award recognizes faculty members with a record of excellent mentorship of graduate students under their supervision. Outstanding mentors inspire their graduate students to be creative in their thinking, to push their research in new directions, and to make a positive impact on the future.
Prize: a profile on the CAGS website and in social media and complimentary registration with an opportunity to speak at the CAGS Conference in Ottawa in November 2025.
