The Faculty of Medicine also has a professionalism policy and an online reporting tool that can also be used. The University of Ottawa Human Rights Office handles complaints of discrimination, harassment and sexual violence and provides impartial service to all. Its services are confidential. |

Program director and/or AD PGME/VD PGME provide support in managing conflict arising between PGME trainees and between supervisors and PGME trainees. The Ombudsperson is a confidential and impartial resource to assist you with the fair resolution of problems and complaints at the University. The Ombudsperson operates independently of the University and Student Unions. The Ombudsperson provides a range of services, including information, confidential advice or interventions, depending on the nature of the situation and the steps you have taken.
