Conflict Studies and Human Rights Association (CHRA)

The CHRA represents undergraduate students in the Conflict Studies and Human Rights program at the University of Ottawa. The association organizes events where students can connect with peers and professors and explore topics related to their program.

The CHRA also advocates for students鈥 academic interests and rights, acting as a liaison with program administrators to ensure that student voices are heard.

For more information or to get involved, feel free to reach out via email or visit our office located in room 2037 of the Social Sciences Building.

GSPIA Student Association

The Public and International Affairs Association (PIAA) consists of seven members representing the students of GSPIA. Our mandate is to make sure that people have opportunities to meet each other, to have fun with their peers, and to rally with professors and senior fellows to discuss similar interests.

We also address the academic needs and rights of our students through relationships at the program administration level, and have recently created a one-of-its-kind scholarship program, built by students for students.

Here is a quick breakdown of the people and of the different positions within PIAA:

Our office is located at FSS 2034. It is a cozy place where you are always welcome; visit us whenever you want! If you have any questions about the Association, its mandate, its positions or ways to get involved, feel free to contact us at [email protected]
